Brief notes on our history
We are Unispecial S.r.l. Precision Turning Center, a family firm based in Vigodarzere, 10 kilometers from Padua and 35 from Venice. We are located in one of the Veneto region’s most important industrial areas.
Unispecial S.r.l. was formed in 1987 by the enterprising spirit of Giuseppe Venuti and his wife Roberta Golin. The company began work with 4 employees, 6 hydraulic machine tools and 4 mechanical machine tools in a small workshop of 350 square metres. In 1997, after ten years of continuous growth, Unispecial switched to numeric control technology and moved to its current home, which boasts 1950 sq.m. of production area. Today, Unispecial employs a dedicated team of 25 people, including Giuseppe and Roberta’s 3 sons, Filippo, Stefano and Andrea, who run the business alongside their parents. The company now operates a park of 28 CNC machines. Constant investment in technical and professional training has earned Unispecial certification to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 9001:2015.
Today, Unispecial turns and mills top-quality components to drawings for small, medium and large enterprises in Italy and abroad.
We go beyond the simple turning and milling of parts. We produce genuine, turned and milled jewels. The parts we make are both UNIQUE and SPECIAL and this is why UniSpecial stands out in the contract supply of components made to technical drawings. We are what we do. And what we do is unique and special, just like you and all our customers and just like every project we undertake. Our mission is therefore an integral part of us: We turn your drawings into reality.
Our core business is the turning and milling of parts from Ø 2 mm to Ø 80 mm to customers’ drawings, and the production of precision mechanical components.
We also offer the following additional machining processes in-house:
We can machine all ferrous and non-ferrous materials in rolled, drawn and ground bar stock (including high speed, C 35 Pb and C40/45 steels, AISI 303, 304 and 316 stainless steels, steel alloys, titanium, brass, bronze, aluminium and plastics).
Requests for offers are processed within 24 hours as part of our standard operating procedures. Provided the necessary materials are readily available, orders are normally delivered within one to two working weeks, depending on the complexity of the product involved (unless special machining operations beyond our control have to be performed externally).
Exports currently account for 25% of Unispecial’s sales.
At present, our main export markets are: Germany, Austria, Holland and Sweden.
Our main domestic market is central and northern Italy.
Our flexibility in terms of production potential (lot size) represents an important added value. We interpret flexibility as optimized production management, increased production efficiency and greater capacity to satisfy customer requests.
Our flexible production system and the large number of machining operations we can perform enable us to produce an extensive range of parts for many areas of industry, even with widely differing needs. We can supply from the smallest to the largest finished products, all accurately machined, guaranteed to ensure total satisfaction and conforming to all specified dimensions and characteristics.
Constant investment in technology and process organization has allowed us to achieve excellent levels of efficiency and productivity.
Our customers can rely on a flexible and rapid supply chain (logistics and storage).
Our warehousing system can interface effectively with customers’ re-ordering systems.
To sum up, our strengths include the excellent quality of the custom parts we turn and mill, competitive prices, rapid delivery of orders, an advanced and constantly updated machine park, flexibility in production and, last but not least, continuous and ongoing investment in the personal and professional skills of every member of the Unispecial team.
